Looking for members to serve as officers and board members
The Henry Clay PTSA is looking for members to serve as officers and board members for the 2010 - 2011 school year. Please contact Henry Clay PTSA for more information.
Helping support programs sponsored by the Henry Clay PTSA has never been easier. When your shop online through www.onecause.com a percentage goes to the PTSA. Lands End, Barnes and Noble and Staples are just a few of the hundreds of online shopping websites available. You must start your shopping at the www.onecause.com website in order for the PTSA get the rebate. Your friends and family can also register and support the PTSA. The Henry Clay High School PTSA sponsors and supports a wide range of programs. Through your membership dues, we are able to provide teachers with supplies/equipment through the Academic Enrichment Program. We are also able to assist student groups, such as the Go Green Club. These are only a few of the programs we sponsor.

Joining the Kroger Gift Card Program also allows the PTSA to support our teachers and students. For more information e-mail Stephanie Kerr. The PTSA also sells spirit wear (tee shirts, sweatshirts, etc.) Please e-mail Diane Atchison

PTSA Student of the Month Parking!! When you sign your student up for PTSA, they can be entered in a drawing to receive a month of on campus parking. PTSA has 3 Student of the Month parking spaces, so there will be three winners per month. Click here to e-mail if you have any questions.

Meetings are held on the third Monday of the month in the Henry Clay High School cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. The Executive Board will meet at the conclusion.

Henry Clay will host a financial aid workshop for parents on Thursday, February 25th. Representatives from KHEAA will be here to assist parents and students with completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Parents and students should bring 2009 W-2s and other wage and tax documents. The program will be held in the Henry Clay library and will begin at 6pm.

The 2010 AP Exam period will be May 3-May 14. Registration for AP exams will be on February 17, 18, 24 and 25 and will be held during lunches in the main foyer near the guidance office. The cost of each exam is $86 including a non-refundable deposit of $36 which is due at the time of registration. A late fee will apply after March 1st and final payments will be due on March 15th.

Attention Juniors:
The Commonwealth Honors Academy is now accepting applications. CHA is an exciting and challenging 3-week academic and personal growth program for outstanding high school students who have completed their junior year. This program is similar to Governor's Scholars but is sponsored by and housed at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. Interested students should see their counselor for more info or log onto the Murray State University website at www.murraystate.edu/cha
