PTSA NEEDS YOU! Joining the PTSA helps sponsor student activities such as the Baccaluareate Ceremony the honor roll breakfast, teacher appreciation day and academic enrichment. Join the PTSA and help support our students. Memberships are $6 for a Single Membership and $25 for a Family Membership. Contact Kim Johnson at kim4peace@insight to sign up, or download the membership form here.

Attend one of our board meetings listed below which are held at Henry Clay High School. The Executive Board meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. The full Board meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. All meetings will be held in the cafeteria.

1. Kroger Gift Card Program. Buy a $20 gift card (preloaded for the $20) from the PTSA, use and reload it regularly, and 4% of your total purchase amount will be rebated to the school. They mail the school a check each time we reach their $5,000 amountl. The card can be reloaded at any Kroger store by check, cash, or credit card. 3. Office Depot Back to School Program. When you buy office and school supplies, specify at checkout that you would like your purchase to be credited to Henry Clay. 5% of qualifying purchases will be awarded to the school as a credit that can be used for free supplies.
2. Meijer Community Rewards Program. Register for the program, shop at Meijer, and pay with either your Meijer Credit Card or cash/debit card and a Meijer 1 Guest card, and 0.5%-1% of your purchase amount will be rebated to the school. Register at Meijer.com/creditcard or Meijer.com/rewards and include Henry Clay's organization code, 389088.4. Target Education program: Apply, get approved and get your REDcardSM (if you don't have one already). Enroll. Sign up for Take Charge of Education and designate Henry Clay. Shop. Target will donate up to 1% of your REDcard purchases to Henry Clay.

2nd Sunday - Show your commitment to better health by participating in this statewide event. Let's all get moving in the right direction to a more active and healthy lifestyle. Come walk, run, bike, jog or even ride a skateboard! You can do anything but drive. Henry Clay JROTC Booster Club
The Henry Clay JROTC Booster club will meet on Tuesday, October 14th at 6:00 p.m. in Room 105. All cadets and their parents are invited to attend.
The God's Pantry food drive has started! Please send in cans with your students, we are trying to collect ten tons of food! Every student who brings in a can will be entered in a raffle and winners will be drawn everyday. There are prizes from Durangos, The Lexington Ice Center, Chilis, Subway, Firehouse Subs, Rallys, The Kentucky Theater, Corky's, Billy's Barbeque, Starbucks, Kentucky football tickets, and more! Also, several teachers are offering extra credit for students who bring in cans. God's Pantry has a food shortage and is in desperate need of donations, please have your students bring in cans!

Looking for a new sport? Play Lacrosse! Henry Clay Lacrosse is looking for students to join our team. Lacrosse is a fun, fast-paced sport that combines elements of soccer, hockey and football. Some have called it the fastest game on grass. The main season begins in March, but students can join the team at any time.
